Summer Spotlight: Anna Carbone, Women's Volleyball & Swimming

Due to the overwhelming response from our student-athletes, our Summer Spotlight feature will now be twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Women's volleyball and swimming to-be-junior Anna Carbone was an AD3I All-Independent Women's Volleyball Second Team and USCAA National All-Academic Team honoree during her sophomore campaign. She anchored the Lady Bears' defense with a HVIAC-leading 4.32 digs per set as St. Joseph's went undefeated in league play en route to capturing their second straight regular season title.

Final thoughts…

Anything you'd like to share with all the fans out there …

As an incoming freshman, I only wanted to play volleyball. But of course, I had to join other varsity sports and do so much more. But it is thanks to my teams, friends, and family that I was able to do these things. Anything is possible if you put your heart into it, and never be discouraged by failure! Thank you all so much for the support, and I hope to see you at future games and meets!
