Bears and Lady Bears Honored at Season-Ending Athletic Awards Banquet
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The 2015-16 season came to a close on Wednesday night as St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn) hosted its annual Athletic Awards Banquet in The Hill Center gymnasium.
After a welcome from Interim Director of Athletics and Recreation Alex Winnicker who served as master of ceremonies, Head Men’s Basketball Coach Joseph Cocozello and senior women’s swimmer Leticia Salazar addressed all the student-athletes, coaches and administration in attendance with reflections on the past season. All the 32 graduating seniors were then recognized and presented with a senior gift thanking them for their dedication to the athletic program.
The awards portion of the program concluded the night with the Skyline and team award winners presented with their awards and special awards presented by the Sports Medicine department and the Alumni Association.
