The St. Joseph's University, NY - Brooklyn Athletic Communications Office welcomes your interest in Bears Athletics.  We will make every effort to facilitate your coverage of our programs. For information on student-athletes or coaches, to set up interviews or photo shoots, to be added to our media lists, or if you are in need of archive photos, please email your request to Ronny Rios

Overview

The SJBK Athletic Communications Office handles the promotion of the Brooklyn Campus' NCAA Division III intercollegiate varsity sports.

The office is responsible for all athletic department publications, media relations pertaining to athletics, maintaining the Athletic Department website, official statistics for all home events, historical record-keeping for all sports, and other promotional activities surrounding the Athletic Department.

Statistics for Home Games

Statistics for all home basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball & softball games will be kept in-game using NCAA LiveStats/StatCrew software and a packed file and box score will be sent immediately after the conclusion of the contest. 

Statistical disputes and corrections will be handled in accordance with the NCAA Statistical Policy and Guidelines

Live Stats / Video

Live stats and video will be available for all home basketball, volleyball, soccer, and baseball/softball games, pending circumstances out of our control. Links to all live stats and video can be found at sjbkathletics.com/live or each team's respective schedules on our website.

Interviews

All interviews with St. Joseph's student-athletes and coaches should be coordinated through the Athletic Communications Office with 24 hours advance notice. Home or cell phone numbers for student-athletes will not be released to reporters under any circumstance.

Broadcasts

Internet, radio, or television stations wishing to broadcast from St. Joseph's home events should contact the Athletic Communications Office with at least one week advance notice and a best effort will be made to try to accommodate you. 

Photography

Media members and others wishing for on-court or on-field access for photography must contact the Athletic Communications Office prior to the event.  Direct flash photography is prohibited and photographers may not work from directly behind the scorer's table or designated team areas.
