OVERLAND PARK, KS – In a release announcing the 2010 Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) All-Independent Baseball Teams, five Bears received post-season recognition, with sophomore outfielder Kevin Diaz (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) and senior third-baseman Chris Davidson (San Carlos, CA/Carlmont) honored as First Team All-Independent selections.

With the loss, the teams split the season series, 1-1. Sophomore first baseman Anthony Langone (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) led the Bears with a pair of hits, driving in two runs.

CSI led from the outset in the nightcap to earn a split, 9-1.
