Baseball Team Meeting Set for Thursday, September 1 ** New Times **

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) Head Baseball Coach Jerry Sidman has announced a mandatory meeting on Thursday, September 1st for all interested in playing on the baseball team this upcoming season.

All returning student-athletes will meet at common hour while all new and prospective student-athletes will meet at 5 p.m. (prior to the Investiture ceremony). Both meetings will take place in the team room on the 1st floor (inside the gym, beside the SJC locker rooms). ** Meeting times updated on 8/29. **

All are reminded that in order to participate in any tryout or the Fall season, you must be cleared by the Sports Medicine Office. Please contact Head Athletic Trainer Oscar Melendez (omelendez@sjcny.edu) with any questions about the clearance process.

The Bears will compete in their second season in the Skyline Conference in 2017. In their inaugural season in the league, St. Joseph's finished 22-20—their fourth straight 20-win season and fifth straight winning campaign—and captured third place in their first Skyline Championships.
