The Bear Facts

  • Francis Rapp broke a record that was set five times previously—last by Mike Cundari in April 2014.
  • The Bears' 22 hits are tied for third-most in a single game. It's the most knocked by the Bears since belting 22 at Drew in May 2014.
  • The three-game winning streak is the longest of the season.
  • St. Joseph's has won three of the last four over Baruch and closes the Bearcat lead in the all-time series to 7-6.
  • After appearing in 58 straight games dating back to last season, Nicholas LoPrinzi missed today's game due to an injury sustained hit by a pitch in yesterday's game. Currently in third all-time in games played (146) and started (146), the senior needs five more starts and six more games played to take sole possession of the lead in both categories.
