Similar to the opener, the hosts led 3-0 again through three with the navy-and-gray getting on the board in the fourth, Medina Jr. scoring a pair with a two-out knock with runners in scoring position to cut the deficit to 3-2.

But the hosts would break open the one-run game responding with seven runs in the home half of the inning.

Lucas Collet (Toulouse, France/Lyc'ee Bellevue) knocked two of the five Bears hits in a 2-for-3 effort and scored once. Medina finished 1-for-3 with both RBI. Hernandez and Omar Salcedo (New York, N.Y./LaSalle Academy) collected the other SJCBK hits.
