Men's Basketball Gameday: Bears at University of Dallas Classic

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- After splitting games at the College of Mount Saint Vincent Tip-Off Tournament, the Bears (1-1) play for he first time ever in the lone star state facing a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foes in Irving, Texas at the University of Dallas Classic.

Series History

The Bears will meet both the Crusaders and Roos for the first time in men's basketball.

Did you know: The Lady Bears made the trip to Texas to play in the University of Dallas Holiday Tournament in December 2008, dropping contests to the Crusaders and then defending Division III national champion Howard Payne University.

Bears Last Time Out

St. Joseph's led from nearly start to finish in a 64-49 victory over Centenary College in the College of Mount Saint Vincent Tip-Off Tournament Consolation game on Saturday. David Louison (19 pts, 12 reb) and Michael Megafu (11 pts, 10 reb) both posted double-doubles in the win.

Crusaders Last Time Out

Dallas suffered a 61-53 defeat to Marymount University (VA) on Sunday afternoon in the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament championship game.

Roos Last Time Out

Austin knocked down 17 three pointers in a 104-92 victory over Howard Payne University on Saturday night in their home and season opener.
