BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Beka Goduadze (Tbilisi, Georgia/Lyceum "NK") led the St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) men's soccer team with seven shots in a closely played game, but an early goal would prove to be the difference as Purchase State walked away with a 3-0 Skyline Conference victory on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Purchase had a quick start, scoring a goal 42 seconds into the match. Hunter Wilson made a pass into the box that Joel Viveros then deposited into the net to give Purchase the 1-0 lead they carried into the intermission.
- The game remained scoreless until the 65th minute, when Ramsey Heitmann broke off a long run down the left wing, beating his man and cutting into the box to make it 2-0.
- The visitors tacked on an insurance goal in the 81st minute, when Samvara Anello found Tim Rera with a long pass down the left wing, who then beat Parr with a short side shot for the final tally.
