Men's Tennis Falls at Borough Rivals Brooklyn College

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team was kept off the scoreboard by cross-borough rivals Brooklyn College, falling 9-0 at Roosevelt Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Nick Orlando (Brooklyn, N.Y./Christ the King) fell four points shy of securing the lone win for St. Joseph's falling in a third set tiebreak after rallying from an opening set loss, dropping a 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-6) decision at No. 5 singles.

Sophomore Nolan Parr (Red Hook, N.Y./Red Hook Central) had a strong showing at No. 4 singles in a 6-4, 6-4 defeat.

St. Joseph's (0-4) returns to action on Saturday, April 12 hosting Albertus Magnus College at the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center starting at 3:30 p.m.
