Top 10 Moments: #7 – Parr Strings Eight-Match Win Streak

Top 10 Moments: #7 – Parr Strings Eight-Match Win Streak

Playing in eight matches in five days, sophomore Nolan Parr assembled the longest winning streak in Bears Tennis history going undefeated at singles and doubles over the stretch. Parr's success on the courts helped the Bears snap a 31-match losing streak dating back to 2011 defeating HVIAC foe Webb for the first time ever and followed it up with another league win against Vaughn to lock up 4th place in the conference, their best finish in program history.

After going winless as a freshman, Parr finished his sophomore campaign with 11 wins – five singles and six doubles – and capped off the season by being named to the All-HVIAC Team and advancing to the finals of the HVIAC No. 2 Doubles Championship with fellow Red Hook, N.Y. native Kyle Johnson, which helped the Bears take third in the team competition.
