Men’s Tennis Opens Season at Yeshiva

EDGEWATER, N.J. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team began their 2018 campaign dropping a 9-0 decision to preseason favorite Yeshiva University (5-4, 2-0)  in a Skyline Conference match on Wednesday evening at Binghamton Racquet Club.

Junior Denise Trerotola took a pair of games off Yoni Sacknovitz at No. 3 singles and Daniel Vaitzman notched a game at No. 2 singles in his collegiate debut.

The Bears (0-1, 0-1) were scheduled to host United States Merchant Marine Academy on Thursday, but that match has been postponed due to the winter storm. SJC is scheduled to return to the court on Wednesday, March 28 heading to Purchase College for a 3:30 p.m. Skyline tilt.
