Men’s Tennis Bypassed by Farmingdale

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Senior Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) played a hard-fought match at singles but the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 Skyline Conference decision to Farmingdale State College (9-2, 5-1) on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

Trerotola fell behind 5-2 in both sets of her No. 4 singles match and fought her way back into each set, before falling by a break, 6-4, 6-4.

Senior Israel Bautista (Forest Hills, N.Y./Forest Hills) and sophomore Sean Devine Dunn (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xavier) each managed a game off their opponents at No. 3 and No. 6 singles.

St. Joseph's (1-9, 0-6) will play their third match in as many days making the short trip down Willoughby Avenue on Wednesday, April 24 to Clinton Hill neighbors Pratt Institute in a non-conference match starting at 7 p.m.
