Urshela Named HVMAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

BROOKLYN, NY – Freshman outside hitter Raul Urshela (Orlando, FL/Colonial) was named the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference men's volleyball Rookie of the Week in an announcement made by the conference yesterday.  Urshela receives the honor for the second straight week, after helping lead the Bears to a 2-2 record for the week ending March 11th.

Urshela finished three straight conference matches with double-digit kills averaging 10.3 kills as the Bears posted a 2-1 record in HVMAC play to move into third place in the league standings. 

The Bears return to action on Friday, March 16th for a road HVMAC tilt against Webb starting at 7 p.m.
