The Bear Facts

Last Time Out: The Bears fell to Regis College (Mass.) in straight sets 3-0, then dropped a three-set loss to Mount Ida College. Against Regis, was led by Raul Urshela and Taso Kostikas had four kills a piece, and Iqbal Husain had ten assists throughout the match for the Bears. In the Mount Ida match, the Bears got five kills from Urshela and 12 digs from Kostikas. Clyde Delacruz also contributed five kills in a losing effort.

St. Joseph's is led by one-time HVIAC Player of the Week Raul Urshela who leads the team with 29 kills and 10 blocks on the season. The junior leads the HVIAC with 2.42 kills and 0.79 blocks per set and has one game with double-digit kills under his belt this season.

Taso Kostikas and Clyde Delacruz provide more firepower for the Bears with each putting down 15 kills on the season, good for 1.25 kills per set. Kostikas also gives defensive support with a team-high 25 digs in four games.
