Last Time Out: St. Joseph's struggled early on and dropped the first set, but rebounded to win three straight sets to defeat Medgar Evers College, 3-1 (25-20, 25-15, 25-14, 25-16), on February 19th.The Bears were led by junior Raul Urshela who slammed 23 kills and senior Iqbal Husain who totalled 32 assists against the Cougars.

St. Joseph's is off to their best start in school history at 2-3 and look to improve to .500 with their first win ever against Lehman. The Bears have used the serve to their advantage, averaging 2.13 aces per set (No. 8 in Division III) on the season.

Two-time HVIAC Player of the Week Raul Urshela leads the way for St. Joseph's on the offensive end with 52 kills and 3.25 kills per set. The junior also has 21 digs and 10 blocks on the season and leads the Bears with a .169 hitting percentage.

Helping orchestrate the offense is senior setter Iqbal Husain who has 88 assists on the year and averages 5.50 assists per set. Husain also is third on the team with 19 digs and has two kills on the year.

Sophomore Taso Kostikas provides another offensive force for St. Joseph's with 21 kills and leads the team with 10 service aces and 39 digs.

Last Time Out: Lehman dropped both ends of a tri-match to Mount Ida College and Newbury College in straight sets on Saturday, March 1st. The Lightning were led by Jaleel Lino who had a combined 29 kills over the two matches.

Lehman comes into tonight's matchup with the Bears having lost three matches in a row and nine of their last ten after beginning the season 4-0. The Lightning enter with a .139 hitting percentage (No. 4 in CUNYAC), but allow opponents to hit .249 which is second worst in the conference. Lehman paces the CUNYAC with 11.32 digs per set and ranks third in the conference with 1.54 aces per set.
