Chiaramonte Ranked in Top 15 in Five Statistical Categories
BROOKLYN, NY – After compiling a 0.88 ERA in 24 innings of work over a four-game stretch last week, senior pitcher/outfielder Alyson Chiaramonte (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) kept pace with the Division III softball leaders and now ranks in the top 15 in five categories.
Chiaramonte made the biggest jump in total strikeouts, striking out 29 batters last week to move up 14 places to 33rd. Despite dropping one spot in shutouts, two behind the overall leaders, Chiaramonte recorded her ninth shutout last night against St. Joseph's (L.I.).
