Softball Adds Three Games to Close out Regular Season

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) softball team has added a single game versus Yeshiva University today at 4:30 p.m. at Sarah Lawrence College and a doubleheader against USCAA foe Briarcliffe College on Wednesday, May 7 at 4 p.m. at Padavan-Preller Field.

The Lady Bears (15-15) defeated Yeshiva two days ago for the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship. Today's game will be played for the HVIAC regular season championship with the regular season league game postposted twice due to weather.

The Lady Bears will then close out the season against the Bulldogs, who recently received a bid to the 2014 USCAA Softball Small College World Series, looking to avenge a doubleheader sweep in early April.

Currently on a six-game winning streak to level their record at .500, the Lady Bears look to produce their fifth winning season in the last six years.
