Women's Basketball Gameday: Lady Bears at Southern Virginia & Apprentice

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- After taking home the Cedar Crest College Tournament title, the Lady Bears (3-2) travel to Virginia to face fellow USCAA schools Southern Virginia University -- a 2013 USCAA National Championship qualifier -- and The Apprentice School.

Saturday, November 30 at 12 p.m. at Southern Virginia University
Sunday, December 1 at 12 p.m. at The Apprentice School

Series History

The Lady Bears hold an 0-2 mark against Southern Virginia with the last meeting coming in January of 2005.

St. Joseph's has 14 previous meetings against Apprentice under their belts compiling a 3-11 record with the Lady Bears winning the last meeting 74-63 at home last season.

Lady Bears Last Time Out

St. Joseph's captured the Cedar Crest College Tournament defeating NYU-Poly 55-43 in the championship game on Sunday. Megan Moran led the way with 17 points while Tournament MVP Kelly McNamee dropped in 11 points.

Knights Last Time Out

Southern Virgnina dropped a 84-70 decision to Marymount in their Capital Athletic Conference opener on Monday.

Builders Last Time Out

Led by 16 points and 10 rebounds by Courtney Collins, Apprentice defeated Bennett 81-44 last Saturday. The Builiders also hold a 75-58 triumph over the Knights in both teams season openers.
