Women's Basketball Gameday: Lady Bears vs. King's

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- After earning a victory over USCAA rival The Apprentice School on Sunday to conclude their Virginia trip 1-1, St. Joseph's opens up Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) play taking on The King's College in their home opener at Brooklyn Technical High School at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph's triumphed, 62-26, in the schools' lone meeting exactly a year ago with 11 different Lady Bears recording a field goal led by Samantha Retas who had a game-high 13 points in 16 minutes.

St. Joseph's earned a 67-60 victory over The Apprentice School to conclude their Virginia trip with a 1-1 mark and move back over .500. Seniors Megan Moran and Kelly McNamee each poured in a game-high 17 points to lead the Lady Bears.
