Women's Basketball Looks To Ride Momentum of First Win Hosting Farmingdale State

• The Lady Bears look to ride the momentum of their first win of the season, beating sibling rivals SJC Long Island, 70-65, on Tuesday. Destiny Marino and Victoria Porcasi led the team with 21-point performances and Kellie O'Neill sank three free throws in the final minute to put the game away. The Lady Bears will look to make it four straight when the Golden Eagles visit The Hill Center on January 7.
• Marino recorded her third 20+ game of the season on Tuesday, recording her sixth career double-double and scoring her 500th career point in the process. Her 17.1 points per game ranks 3rd in the Skyline.
• Erica Eddy continues a strong senior campaign with 12.1 pts/gm still good for ninth in the league.

• Reigning Skyline Player of the Week sophomore Tyra Harrison makes up the bulk of the Ram offense pouring in a league-best 22.5 points per game, taking 35% of the team's shot attempts. Expect her to log heavy minutes, averaging 36.4 per game, tops in the league. 
• The Rams have swiped a conference best 11.9 steals per game with Harrison grabbing 33 thefts and Nicole Gomez adding 26.
