Summer Spotlight: Morgan Summers, Women's Swimming & Softball

As one of the leading swimmers on the Lady Bears swim team, Morgan Summers picked up two gold medals (200 yard IM, 100 yard Backstroke) at this year's HVIAC Championships and led the Lady Bears to a runner up finish. Summers, who will be a junior in the fall, already holds four SJC records and is a two-time All-Hudson Valley Conference honoree. On the diamond, the Bellerose, N.Y. native was an AD3I All-Independent Second Team selection in 2013 and made 22 starts this season at first base, batting .250 with 13 runs and seven RBI.
