Women's Swimming Opens New Year at Sibling Rivals SJC Long Island

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's swimming team opened the new year falling to sibling rivals St. Joseph's College (Long Island), 129-32, on Saturday afternoon in the Danzi Center.

Bears Top Swims

Senior Kathryn Cosenza (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) notched a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle clocking in at 1:08.34.

Freshman Kasey Gustaveson (Queens, N.Y. / Queens Metropolitan) also picked up second-place points in the 100-yard backstroke (1:58.85).
