Huen Named Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) athletic director Frank P. Carbone recently announced the hiring of TC Huen as the new Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach.

The Hong Kong native comes to St. Joseph's with extensive tennis experience as he is a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Certified Tennis Pro. Huen has served seven years as a staff tennis professional at Princeton Racquet Club in New Jersey and eight years as head tennis instructor at South Brunswick Adult Community Education Tennis Program.

Before starting his tennis coaching career, Huen worked 19 years in the corporate information technology field, his last position as Regional IT Manager for Standard & Poor's Ratings Services near Wall Street.

Huen is no stanger to the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area, a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School as an electrical engineering major before attending Columbia University where he majored in computer science. He has been happily married to his wife Donna for 27 years with a son, Calvin, and daughter, Melanie, and currently resides in Kendall Park, N.J.

The Lady Bears open their 2013 campaign on the road as they travel to Patchogue to face sister campus St. Joseph's (L.I.) on September 21st with a start time of 1 p.m. All interested in participating on the women's or men's tennis teams for the 2013-14 season should e-mail Huen at tchuen@sjcbears.com.
