BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Seven home matches at the U.S. National Tennis Center highlight the 12-match, 2013 St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis schedule released today by head coach TC Huen.

The Lady Bears kick off the season with two straight road matches with the season opener taking place on September 21st at sister campus St. Joseph's (L.I.) before starting a four-out-of-five match stretch against CUNYAC opponents beginning with a match at Brooklyn College on September 23rd.

St. Joseph's returns to the U.S. National Tennis Center for their home opener on September 26th versus CCNY before traveling to the Bronx to take on Lehman College on September 28th. The Lady Bears will open play in the newly rebranded Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) on September 29th with a home match against New Rochelle before concluding their stretch versus CUNYAC members with a home tilt against John Jay.

After finishing 2012 with a 2-7 mark and in fourth place in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC), Huen looks to make his mark on the program in his first season.

October is a key month for the Lady Bears as they have three conference matches during the month beginning on October 11th when they host Vaughn College. The Lady Bears travel to Sarah Lawrence on October 14th for their lone conference road match before concluding their regular season with a home match against two-time defending HVWAC Champions Pratt Institute.

The Lady Bears finish off the 2013 campaign with the HVIAC Tournament held at the U.S. National Tennis Center on October 26th with Huen looking to improve on the Lady Bears fourth place finish a year ago.

St. Joseph's was led last season by sophomore Victoria LoBosco who was named to the HVWAC All-Conference Team after winning three matches during the season primarily at No. 1 singles.
