OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) has named sophomore Tathiana Pierre (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Ford) as their women's tennis Player of the Week after Pierre helped lead the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team to their first two wins of the season over the past week.

The sophomore earned her first career singles win versus CCNY taking a 10-6 decision at No. 3 singles to tie the match at 3-3 against the Beavers heading into doubles competition. In doubles play, Pierre would team up with junior Victoria LoBosco (Glendale, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) at No. 2 doubles to clinch St. Joseph's first win of the season earning an 8-7 win after winning the tiebreaker 7-3 to give the Lady Bears a 5-4 team win.
