FLUSHING, N.Y. — Reigning Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) cruised to a straight-set victory at the top of the singles lineup but the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team dropped a 8-1 conference decision to Yeshiva University on Friday morning.

  • Playing in her third match at No. 1 singles, Trerotola cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Jannah  Eichenbaum. She has won her last four singles matches and five of her last six.
  • Pierre played a hard-fought match in the No. 2 position before falling 6-2, 6-4.
