Women’s Tennis Hosts Sage in Skyline Matchup
FLUSHING, N.Y. — Sophomore Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) played two gritty matches at the top of the singles and doubles lineup, but the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team was held scoreless by The Sage Colleges in a Skyline Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

SJC Highlights
- Sophomore Denise Trerotola teamed up with senior Mary Edward and were edged out by a break, 8-6, at the top doubles match. Trerotola continued to lead the linueup in singles and dropped her opening set by a break but fell in straight sets, 7-5, 6-0.
- Emily Watts took four games off Abbey Clobridge at No. 4 singles in a 6-2, 6-2 loss.
Next Up for the Bears
- After three straight Skyline Conference matches, St. Joseph's returns to the courts tomorrow, September 18th for a non-league affair, hosting Brooklyn College at the USTA National Tennis Center. First serve is set for noon.
