Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams Receive ITA Academic Honors
TEMPE, Ariz. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the 2017 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes recently. Both St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's and women's tennis teams were recognized as an All-Academic Team, collectively maintaining a combined team cumulative grade point average of over 3.2 for the 2016-17 year.
In addition, three student-athletes from each squad were granted Scholar-Athlete distinction holding a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
In all, 720 teams and 3,908 student-athletes across all five divisions of college tennis were honored.
