BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's tennis team traveled to Kings County rivals Brooklyn College on Monday afternoon but came away empty-handed in a 9-0 non-conference loss.

  • Vanessa Munoz (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fort Hamilton) played a hard-fought match at No. 5 singles but fell 6-4, 6-2. She teamed up with Maya Bayliss (Fresh Meadows, N.Y./St. Agnes) for an 8-3 defeat at No. 3 doubles in the closest match of the session.
  • Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) dropped a 6-0, 6-3 decision at No. 1 singles in an attempt to try and tie the single-season singles wins mark.

  • The Bears wrap up their season with a non-conference road match against Hunter College on Wednesday (Oct. 18) at the USTA National Tennis Center starting at 6 p.m.
