Women's Volleyball Schedule Change; Upcoming Game Preview

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- The non-conference game women's vollyball game vs. York College on Friday, October 18th originally scheduled as at Brooklyn Technical H.S. will now be played at the York College Health and Physical Education Building starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Bears (9-5, 4-0 HVIAC), winners of six of their last seven, will play two non-conference road matches vs. CUNYAC foes tonight at Lehman (15-6, 5-1 CUNYAC) and tomorrow at York (4-16, 1-5 CUNYAC) in preparation for a key Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tri-match on Sunday, October 20th at Baruch College.

Currently unbeaten in league play, St. Joseph's will square off against host Yeshiva University (2-6, 2-3 HVIAC) who needs to win their remaining games to earn the final seed in the HVIAC Tournament, and Culinary Institute (8-3, 4-1 HVIAC) in a match that would clinch the regular season title and No. 1 seed for the tournament for the second straight year.

With the change to Friday's game, the Lady Bears have one remaining home game, closing out HVIAC play against Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday, October 22nd at Brooklyn Technical H.S. starting at 7:30 p.m. The team will also celebrate Senior Night honoring seniors Megan Moran, Sabrina Cornia and Phia Martinez.
