CNR took control from the opening serve racing out to a 14-1 lead in large part to hitting a blistering .455 in the first set and never turning back.

The Lady Bears fell behind by as many as eight in the second stanza before using a 6-0 run to cut their deficit to 19-18, before the hosts pulled away again and took a 25-20 set lead.

St. Joseph's took an early third-set lead, their only lead of the contest, but a 15-1 Blue Angel run helped seal the Lady Bears fate.
