Spotlight: Cassandra Nasta, Women's Volleyball

A two-time USCAA and HVIAC All-Academic Team honoree, Cassandra Nasta recorded career highs of six kills, 17 service aces, 44 digs and three blocks in her third season on the Lady Bears Volleyball team. In a straight set victory over Washington Adventist this season, Nasta set a personal best with 10 digs, a kill and a block assist. In the off-season, Nasta is one of the primary clock operators at home basketball games in The Hill Center.

I am working two jobs this summer and trying to get to the beach as much as I can

Most memorable moment in a Bears/Lady Bears uniform… 

My most memorable moment would probably be when we beat Culinary this year. We needed to beat them to get into the playoffs and it was a really great game 

My pump up song before a game is…

Usually whatever song we are obsessed with that season. Last year it was Ugly Heart so I wonder what it will be this year

Favorite road trip so far… 

Our trip to DC my sophomore year was so much fun. We were able to explore the city and I had never been there before so it was really cool being there 

My goals for this season are to… 

My goals for this season are to work hard and hopefully do really well our first year in the Skyline Conference 

Favorite feature of The Hill Center...

I love the court that we will finally be able to play on. 

When I found out The Hill Center was finally open, I…

I was sad because our season had already passed but happy because it is great for the school and it will make my senior year so much better. 

Reaction when you heard Starbucks and Chipotle was opening on Myrtle Ave…

So excited. No more having to drive to Court Street to get chipotle
