Quahliero Lands on Skyline Weekly Honor Roll

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Helping the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's volleyball team to a 2-1 week, freshman Elizabeth Quahliero (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) has been named to the Skyline Conference weekly honor roll as announced by the league office yesterday.

The 5-foot-9 middle hitter led the offense last week slamming a team-high-tying 15 kills while maintaining a .143 hitting percentage. In the straight-set win over York, the freshman served 11 aces, the first Bear to reach double figures in the category since 2008. She followed it up with a match- and career-high nine kills in a 3-0 triumph over Yeshiva for their first Skyline victory of the season.

The Bears resume play on Wednesday, September 21 heading to The College of Staten Island for a non-conference match starting at 7 p.m. Live stats will be available on SJCBears.com.
