Men's Cross Country Competes in CCNY Invitational

BRONX, N.Y. — Senior Thomas Rushin (Ococee, Fla./Ococee) paced the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's cross country team to an 17th place finish at the City College of New York Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday morning.

For the Bears

  • Thomas Rushin placed 59th overall with a time of 33:41 over the 4.97 mile course and was the first Bear across the finish line.
  • Thomas Kennedy was the second Bear clocking in at 39:11 in 120th place.
  • Carlos Mayorga (41:33), William Chu (48:06) and Clyde Delacruz (1:00:46) rounded out the scoring five for the Bears.

Next up for St. Joseph's

The Bears will compete in the SJC Long Island Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday, October 15 starting at 12 p.m.
