Men's Cross Country Concludes 2015 Season With 11th Place Finish At Skyline Championships

MILTON, N.Y. — Competing in their first Skyline Conference Championship, senior Thomas Rushin (Ococee, Fla./Ococee) was the top finisher for the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's cross country team en route to an 11th place team finish on Sunday morning, wrapping up their 2015 campaign.

For the Bears

  • Thomas Rushin placed 54th overall with a time of 34:49 over the 8-kilometer course.
  • Thomas Kennedy was the second Bear clocking in at a season-best 36:16 in 65th place.
  • Thomas Ambrosino (44:06), Carlos Mayorga (49:13) and Clyde Delacruz (51:05) rounded out the scoring five for the Bears.
Noteable
  • Maritime College captured the overall team title by a 22-point margin over St. Joseph's (Long Island). It's the Mariners first title since 2007.
