OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – In recognition of their outstanding performances during the year, St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) senior harriers Paul Milazzo (Port Jefferson, N.Y./Connetquot) and Kelly McNamee (Glendale, N.Y./Mary Louis) and sophomore Thomas Rushin (Ocoee, Fla./Ocoee) were named to the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Cross Country All-Independent Second Team as announced earlier this week by the Association.

Milazzo was the first Bear across the finish line in all five races this season, concluding his career with a personal-best time of 27:41 on an 8k course at the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Championships good for a season-best 6th place finish. The All-HVIAC selection also earned medalist honors with a ninth place finish at the CSI Invitational completing the 5K course in 17:55.

McNamee was the top finisher for the Lady Bears in all five races she competed in. The senior had a season-best 14th place finish at the CSI Invitational posting a 5K time of 23:40. McNamee concluded her career with a personal-best 5K time of 22:00 at the HVIAC Championships.

Milazzo earns the AD3I award in his only season with the Bears after competing for St. Joseph's (L.I.) where he was a Skyline All-Conference Team selection a year ago. Rushin earns the second post-season accolade of his career after taking home HVIAC All-Conference honors last season.

McNamee, a multi-sport athlete for St. Joseph's, earns her first AD3I cross country accolade and is an All-HVIAC honoree in basketball, cross country and tennis.
