SAAC to Host One Love Escalation Workshop Friday
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will host a One Love Escalation workshop, a powerful, film-based workshop that opens people's eyes to the warning signs of relationship abuse.
The workshop will be held on Friday, April 20th in the Tuohy Hall Student Lounge at 6:30 p.m. and is open to all SJC students, faculty, and staff.
The One Love Foundation was created in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, a senior lacrosse player at the University of Virginia who was three weeks shy of her graduation when she was killed by her ex-boyfriend.
One Love's mission is to end relationship abuse by educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors and empowering them to be leaders driving change in their communities.
