Bio

Ashley Morrison was named assistant athletic trainer in January 2022. In May 2023, after a three-month stint as an interim, she was elevated to head athletic trainer. Morrison provides comprehensive healthcare, including preventative and rehabilitative care of injuries, for approximately 160 student-athletes competing across 13 Bears sports.

A recent graduate of Long Island University, Morrison holds experience working with Division I student-athletes as a student assistant at St. John's University and St. Francis College helping to perform evaluations, develop rehabilitation programs, and guide student-athletes through their recovery. A former athlete herself, her clinical experiences worked with men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, men's lacrosse, and men's and women's track and field. In addition, she also participated in preseason screenings working under the direction of the team physician and head ATC. 

She comes to Clinton Hill after working a year and a half as a therapeutic recreation aide for the Bensonhurst Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, creating day-to-day activity plans for patients to remain physically and socially active.

The native Brooklynite is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Sports Science/Athletic Training from LIU last May. She also received an associate's degree in Mental Health and Human Services from Kingsborough Community College.
