Meiner Lands on Skyline Men's Basketball All-Sportsmanship Team

NEW YORK — Senior Kavan Meiner (Staten Island, N.Y./Susan Wagner) has been named to the Skyline Conference Men's Basketball All-Sportsmanship Team as the league released its year-end awards earlier today.

Meiner ended his four-year career for the Bears starting in 94 of 96 career games played, ranking top five all-time, while his 77 blocks place him third in the Bears record book. Also a three-time Skyline Academic Honor Roll recipient, the Staten Island native averaged 7.7 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 46 percent this season.

The All-Conference teams and Player, Defensive Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year are selected by the league's 12 head coaches in a vote at the conclusion of the regular season.
