Men’s and Women’s Soccer Season Openers Postponed

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The threat of inclement weather has forced the postponment of Wednesday's season openers for the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's and women's soccer teams. The women were scheduled to host the City College of New York while the men were slated to travel to Baruch College. No make-up dates have been set at this time.

The women will now begin their 2021 campaign on Friday, September 3 with a road match against Clinton Hill foe Pratt Institute at Randall's Island starting at 7 p.m. 

The men will open their season this weekend at the SJC Long Island Invitational in Patchogue, N.Y. The Bears will face New Jersey City University on Saturday, September 4 with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff. Live stats and video will be available at sjcbears.com.
