Senior Joe Mendez was named Player of the Year, junior Chris Cutrone was tabbed Pitcher of the Year, freshman Nicholas LoPrinzi was selected Rookie of the Year and head coach Scott Losche was chosen as Coach of the Year after helping lead the Bears to a 29-11 mark this season.

Senior Joe Mendez became the first Bear in program history to receive D3Baseball.com All-American honorable mention recognition after helping lead St. Joseph's to a school-record 29 wins and the team's first ever postseason win.
Megafu and McNamee Named Student-Athletes of the Year as Athletic Department Celebrates Awards Night

The Athletic Department wrapped up its 2013-14 athletic calendar hosting their Annual Awards Night on Tuesday evening. Men's basketball sophomore Michael Megafu and multi-sport senior Kelly McNamee were named the inaugural Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year.

Adding to D3Baseball.com All-New York Region honors announced earlier today, seniors Joe Mendez and Mike Cundari were also named to the 2014 American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region Teams. Mendez was named a first team outfielder and Cundari a third team first baseman.

St. Joseph's season came to an end with an 8-6 loss to Victory University in a loser's bracket quarterfinal matchup at the USCAA Small College World Series on Wednesday. Thomas McKenna led the way for the Bears with a career-high two home runs and six RBI on the day.

Baseball Suffers First Loss of USCAA World Series, Falls 2-0 to Lindenwood-Belleville

The No. 6 Bears were held to just two hits in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of No. 2 Lindenwood-Belleville in the a winners bracket game of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series. Mitch Brigando went the distance and took the hard-luck loss striking out five.

Leading the team to a program-best 28-win season, senior Joe Mendez and junior Chris Cutrone were recognized as USCAA Second Team All-Americans and junior Thomas McKenna was an honorable mention. Mike Cundari, Domenic Camerada and Rosario DiLorenzo were named to the National All-Academic Team.
