How it Happened

- Manhattanville needed just 3:28 to start the scoring in the second stanza.
- Rookie Kenneth Garcia (Elmhurst, N.Y./Bayside) had the closest opportunity for the Bears to spoil the shutout, dribbling the length of the field into space and firing a shot from the outside of top of the box that hit squarely off the upper right corner of the frame.
- The Valiants found the back of the net three more times in the 54th, 61st and 71st minutes.
For the Bears
- Garcia led the Bears offense with four shots, one prompting a Valiant save.
- Mateusz Georges also fired off a pair of shots, but the Bears suffered a 31-9 shot discrepancy for the contest.
