Trerotola Victorious at Singles as Men’s Tennis Falls at Sarah Lawrence
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. — Sophomore Denise Trerotola (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) captured her second straight victory at singles but the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to Sarah Lawrence College on Wednesday evening at Concordia College.

- Winning her second straight singles match, Denise Trerotola cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at No. 5 singles for the lone point for the Bears. She now has a team-leading three singles victories.
- Shivam Ghai captured the opening set of his top singles match, but couldn't hold on falling 3-6, 6-0, 6-2.
- After dropping his opening set, Kevin Caicedo grinded out the second set to extended his No. 2 singles match, but ultimately fell 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 in the final match of the evening.
- Ghai and Caicedo fell by a break at No. 1 doubles, 8-6.
