Women's Soccer Ranked No. 12 in First USCAA Coaches' Poll

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—The United States Collegiate Athletic Association has released their first coaches' poll earlier today and the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) women's soccer team has entered the poll at No. 12.

The Lady Bears (5-1) are off to their best start in their three-year history and it is the first time the team has been ranked in the coaches' poll. St. Joseph's currently boasts a USCAA second-best 6.2 goals scored per game average.

Three Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams appeared in the top 20, with Albany College of Pharmacy in the No. 6 spot and The King's College at No. 11.

The Lady Bears will square off against the No. 6 Panthers on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Aviator Sports and Events Center.
