Bauman Named to USCAA National All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) junior Kristen Bauman (Crystal Lake, IL/Prairie Ridge) of the women's tennis team was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National All-Academic Team, in an announcement earlier today recognizing student-athletes in sports not sponsored by the Association.

BROOKLYN, NY – Following the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Tournament, two Lady Bears and their coach were recognized for their outstanding effort in the 2011 season. Kristen Bauman and Kelly McNamee were named to the All-Conference team and first-year head coach Andres Escalante was named the conference’s Coach of the Year.
