Bio

Brown joined the Bears staff as assistant director of athletics for recreation and facilities in April of 2022, bringing experience from several Division I institutions to Clinton Hill.

In his new position at St. Joseph's, Brown will be a member of the senior administrative staff and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of The Hill Center and the St. Angela turf facility and for the coordination of off-campus field rentals. Brown will have supervision for several assigned sports and will serve as game administrator for home contests.

Brown comes to Brooklyn after spending one year at Cornell University as event management and operation assistant. While in Ithaca, he coordinated the daily operations of various athletic facilities and managed department calendars to coordinate all practices, athletic contests, and outside events. He served as the primary event manager for varsity football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse.

Prior to Cornell, Brown worked as an event operations assistant at his alma mater SUNY Cortland where he oversaw and directed all event management staff members and volunteers, and created original content for the athletic social media pages. He was the primary liaison to men's and women's basketball and men's and women's hockey teams for facility and event logistics.

He is a double alumnus from Cortland, receiving a Bachelor of Science in sport management with a minor in communications in 2020 and a Master of Science in sport management in 2021.

While completing his undergraduate degree, he served as an event/facilities operations intern for Binghamton University and a marketing intern for Syracuse University.

A Nassau County native, Brown resides in Bethpage, N.Y.
