Luebcke Named to Skyline Weekly Honor Roll

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — For the second straight week, senior Brian Luebcke (Astoria, N.Y./Monsignor McClancy) was honored by the Skyline Conference, receiving honor roll recognition for his efforts over a three-game stretch last week for the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) baseball team.

Named Skyline Player of the Week last week, Luebcke continued as one of the hottest hitters for the Bears batting .462 (6-for-13) against Drew and CCNY and extended his hitting streak to 10 games, the only bear to successfully hit in every game this season. The senior also accumulated four RBI and three runs, with two doubles, two stolen bases and a walk. He was also perfect in the field in 10 chances (6 putouts, 4 assists).

Luebcke and the Bears (5-5) open a five-game stretch this week heading to New Jersey City University (7-3) tomorrow, March 23 for a single non-conference game starting at 3:30 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at SJCBears.com
