Men's Basketball to Face NJCU at the Prudential Center

NEWARK, NJ – Tickets are available for the January 5th non-conference matchup between the St. Joseph's College Bears and the New Jersey City University Gothic Knights at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ the professional arena that serves as home to the New Jersey Nets, New Jersey Devils and Seton Hall Pirates.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and will be followed by the New Jersey Nets/Chicago Bulls NBA game at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $40 (face value: $100) and include lower level seats to the Nets game.  Visit the Athletics Office or call (718) 940-5833 to purchase tickets.

Tickets will also be available for purchase during the women's basketball game on Thursday night against Old Westbury scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Technical H.S.

This will mark the first time the Bears or Lady Bears will appear at the three-year old facility. The men made their first and only appearance in a professional arena at the Izod Center, former home of the Nets, two seasons ago defeating Medgar Evers, 86-58. The Lady Bears have made five appearances at the Izod Center, falling to NJCU, 75-68, last season.
