This is the first award of the season for Louison who is the reigning Atlantic Region Rookie of the Year.  The sophomore was named AD3I Rookie of the Year, First Team All-Independent and was named AD3I Player of the Week four times in the 2011-12.  Louison is the second Bear to win an award this season following Michael Megafu (Brooklyn, NY/Nazareth Regional) who was named HVMAC Rookie of the Week last week.

St. Joseph's returns to the hardwood tonight starting a four-game homestand, hosting the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Technical High School.
